The J/109 is one of the most versatile performance cruisers ever built by J/Boats. With a proven track record of offshore capability and exciting performance, she is equally at home in regattas as she is on relaxed family cruises. As one of their first sailing yachts, the current owners purchased the Hutting 40 Aura. Now, they are offering this performance-focused yacht for sale as they shift their focus towards more bluewater cruising.

J 109 'Jomalija'

With it's sleek profile, carbon fibre retractable bowsprit, and asymmetric spinnaker system, the J/109 immediately conveys speed and agility. A long waterline, low wetted surface, and fin keel design ensure excellent stability and responsiveness, even when sailed short-handed. Upgraded rod rigging (2022), a set of racing and cruising sails, and recent deck improvements underline her ready-to-sail condition.

The interior combines comfort and practicality, making her as suitable for weekending as for longer voyages. She features two private cabins, sleeping four, with the option of additional berths in the spacious saloon. An “L” shaped galley with double sink, stove and oven, refrigerator, and abundant storage make life onboard enjoyable. The navigation station provides ample space for instruments, while the wet cell with toilet and shower is conveniently positioned near the companionway.
